UFC 82: Anderson Silva vs. Dan Henderson

The main event for UFC 82 features two of the most dangerous middleweights competing in mixed martial arts today. Anderson Silva is considered by most to be the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world (I don't particularly agree with that). He has blown through the UFC's middleweight division.

Anderson Silva will fight former/current Pride champion Dan Henderson. Henderson is the only fighter that I can think of to hold two different belts in different weight classes at the same time. This fight will determine the best fighter middleweight fighter in the world.

At this time Silva is favored to winAs I see this fight playing out, I think Henderson will want the fight to take place standing while trying to land a big punch. The problem will be avoiding Silva's precision strikes. The only way Henderson can win this fight is getting Silva in side control and pounding him out. I just don't see it happening, Silva wins by TKO in the fourth round.

Henderson had a pretty good plan and executed it well in the first round. The second round wasn't more of the same, he tried landing punches instead of taking Silva down. Great fight, just wish it would have turned out differently. Now there is truly nobody left in the middlewieght division for Silva to beat. How about a light-heavyweight challenge?
