Kenny Florian gunning for UFC import Takanori Gomi, hopeful for March meeting

News that Takanori Gomi received his key to the octagon spread like a fireball last weekend, and faster still was word that Kenny Florian could be his first charge.

I am a little surprised the UFC went after Gomi after his sub-par 2-2 record over his last 4 fights. I am guessing name recognition is enough to sell his fights.
